    The Charity walk was help on Sunday 17 July as scheduled.

    Hon Sheila Bapoo, Minister for Social Security and a number of organisations, Scouts Association of Mauritius, SOS Children Village,  and people joined in to express their solidarity to the Club and to the children suffering from Muscular Dystrophy.

    Adoption of Henrietta Government School- needy students

    Road Map of Vacoas

    Vacoas-Phoenix were the only Urban area in Mauritius that did not have an official Road Map. This project took a long time to complete and the map was finally donated to the Municipality of Vacoas-Phoenix. Now it is displayed at the Municipality and some prominent places in Vacoas-Phoenix area.

     

    Donation of ICT facilities for William Huntley Pre-Primary School

     The Club sponsored the opening of the William Huntley Government School in 1994, named after the RI President William Huntley. Ever since the Club has been regularly sponsoring the school. This year it donated a computer, printer and proposes to provide a training of the personnel to use ICT facilities in the school. The donation was attended by the Chairman of the Pre-School Trust Fund, Mr Sahadew and the |District Governor, Randhir Ramloll.

    Charity Walk

    Charity Walk to support some of the forth coming projects. Children with muscular dystrophy, extension of Oncology Department (Waiting room of Cancer Outpatients) at the Candos Hospital and continued sponsorship of needy children of Henrietta Government School.
