The Community Service of the Club, under the Chairmanship of Past President Rajah Bhageerutty, hosted the Senior Citizens of Lamarie on Sunday. This as a yearly event that assembles Rotarians, their family members and senior citizens.  The rainy weather in the midst of a forest and greeneries of exceptional beauty added more variety and fun. The senior citizens enhanced the mood of the moment through a variety programme that revealed their enthusiasm and  ability to enjoy life.

President Shiam Appannah drew attention to one of the objectives of this project which is to develop the awareness that we need to place more emphasis on the welfare of those who have immensely contributed towards building the foundation of a peaceful Mauritius.
