Work becoming intensely competitive, there is now a need for job seekers to be prepared and perform well at the first instance, convince the prospective employer that one is suitable for the job. The Rotary Club of Vacoas seeks to provide an opportunity to university leavers to understand how to get ready for an interview, what employers expect and how to carry oneself through the interview.

This project has been undertake for almost ten years with persons very high caliber. Nevertheless it has been observed that not many university students are really aware of the necessity to take advantage of such opportunities. This has an impact on their preparedness for interviews. However, we have noted much interest among those who do turn up; our evaluation of the project has shown that it has been very well received and seen as highly relevant. We`also feel the obligation to continue this project and extend it to the University of Technology in due course.
